1. BOB ARUM OF TOP RANK PROMOTIONS- He has been promoting fights since 1966. He has promoted Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Sugar Ray Leonard among others. He has promoted fights in more countries than any other promoter in the history of the sport.

2. DON KING OF DON KING PRODUCTIONS- He has promoted more world title bouts than any other promoter in history. Don King has staged fights in more countries than anyone else has. He has promoted among others George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Muhammad Ali, Julio Cesar Chavez, Larry Holmes, Felix Trinidad and Mike Tyson.

3.TEX RICKARD- He created boxings first million dollar gate when he staged Jack Dempseys heavyweight title defense against Georges Carpentier in New Jersey in 1921. This fight was also a Tex Rickard milestone. It was the first time in history a boxing match was broadcast over the radio.

4. FRANK WARREN- The most successful British promoter in history. He has promoted Joe Calzaghe, Nigel Benn, Naseem Hamed, Ricky Hatton, and Amir Khan. He has made British stars into American stars by constantly promoting hard for his charges.

5,. OSCAR DE LA HOYA WITH GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS- Oscar started his company in 2001 and its basically ran by fighters. Oscar wisely hired genesius Richard Schaefer as ceo and Bernard Hopkins helps De La Hoya run the promoting of events. Golden Boy has aligned itself with MMA and has an outstanding relationship with the biggest network in boxing HBO, which has resulted in some outstanding fights. 6. MAIN EVENTS- Eventually this great promotional out fit split into 2 companies, Gary Shaw promotions and Duva Boxing but in the 80s and 90s Main Events promoted Evander Holyfield, Pernell Whitaker, Meldrick Taylor, Lennox Lewis and Vinnie Pazienza just to name a few.

7. GARY SHAW PROMOTIONS- The brains behind Main Events. He has promoted on his own a slew of great fighters including Diego Corrales, Timothy Bradley, Chad Dawson, Alfred Angulo, Rafael Marquez, Andre Dirrell and Kimbo Slice.

8. DAN GOOSEN OF GOOSEN TUTOR PROMOTIONS- He discovered and managed Mr. T. Later he began to promote boxers Michael Nunn, Terry Norris and Rafael and Gabriel Ruelas. He broke away from his America Presents to start a new company called Goosen Tutor and has promoted David Tua, James Toney, Paul Williams and Chris Arreola.

9. DIBELLA ENTERTAINMENT- For years Lou Dibella ran HBOs boxing program. This experience has allowed him to find some quick success. He has promoted Jermain Taylor, Bernard Hopkins, Sergio Martinez, Andre Berto and Paulie Malignaggie.

10.RUSSELL PELTZ OF PELTZ BOXING- He was inducted into the Pennslyvania in 1978. Inducted into the world boxing hall of fame in 2000 and the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2004. He has promoted among others, Charles Brewer, Arturro Gatti, Jeff Chandler and Bennie Briscoe.
